GAAWA Presentation Night – September 2011

This year we will be celebrating season 2011 in style with an association presentation night. The date is yet to be locked in, but it will be in September. We are all members of an association that is rich in values, culture and expression. As a group will be surrounding ourselves with fellow believers and reminiscing on the season that was while plotting the season ahead.  

It will be a good opportunity for clubs to come together in a social and fun environment to acknowledge those who excelled on and off the field in season 2011.

All proceeds to go to the following:

  • Travelling State Teams
  • Charity of "Clubs" choosing. (Clubs will vote)
  • Youth Development.

Entertainment:

  • Each Club is required to perform an 8 minute SKIT on the evening. All performances will be judged by independent judges and the winning club will win a cash prize. 
  • A D.J. will entertain for the evening.
  • A silent Auction.

 Food & Beverages:

  • A buffet style service will be included with ticket price.
  • Tea & Coffee & Biscuits.
  • Venue will have a fully stocked bar at association prices.
  • A drink on arrival is included in ticket price.

 Presentations/ Awards:

  • All state teams will be acknowledged on the evening with possible jumper presentation.
  • State coaching and management staff will also be recognised.
  • Presentation of all Cups for season 2011.
  • Manager/coach of the year award.
  • F & B for Men's football season 2011.
  • F & B for Ladies 'football season 2011.
  • F & B for Hurling season 2011.
  • F & B for Camogie season 2011.
  • Golden Boot, Men's football 2011. (Highest scorer in League only)
  • Diamond Boot, Ladies football 2011. (Highest scorer in League only)
  • Golden Hurley, Men's Hurling 2011. (Highest scorer in League only)
  • Diamond Hurley, Ladies Camogie 2011. (Highest scorer in League only)
